Playing Next-Gen Video Game Console Has Opened My Eyes to New Worlds!

I have to just come out and scream it loudly: the video game consoles of today are really just loaded with features and offer endless hours of awesome play time, my fellow readers and avid video gamers! I recall when I was a kid, all those years back, and the first four bit video game consoles were out and everybody was just freaking out about them. I wonder what it would be like if you were to take one of the video game consoles of today and travel back in time to, say, the early 90s, where the video game console would actually be more powerful than most home computers; that would be an interesting spectacle to see, for certain! I have really been getting into playing some of the numerous and very exciting role playing games on my video game console lately, and I must say that sometimes they are so enthralling that they really suck me in and transport me to this other world, where all the rules are different. The graphics are just so eye-popping that some of these games really make it feel like you are there, in the game!

It does not matter where we’ve been or what we’ve done during the day, it is reassuring to know that at the end of the day everyone is going to be together in the DVD home theater room. Every Sunday, we get together in the DVD home theater room to plan a movie list of all the flicks we would like to see during that week. Sometimes instead of movies we choose to watch a whole series like Deadwood. Making this list together as a family guarantees that every night for that week we all have a little time for each other and with each other in the DVD home theater room. The cool thing is that we don’t even need to have elaborate conversations while enjoying our movies; just being together in peaceful silence can be quite reassuring. There is something so cool about knowing that at the end of every day we’ll have the double pleasure of the fun from the DVD home theater added to all the love vibes from everyone in the family—you just can’t beat that.

I have been really hooked on these games for my video game console and for many different reasons. One, and the most important reason if you ask me, is that many of these games offer you a HUGE open free world where you can explore the vast depths of the maps they made while enjoying intricately detailed boards that really look like different worlds. It is almost like you turn on your video game console and pop in your favorite role playing game, and boom: you are in a different world. For me this equates to many pleasurable mental factors. Like the fact that my stresses and worries from the day seemingly melt away when I am absorbed in such vast virtual worlds, being the hero and trying to save the races from a most certain evil that threatens their existence.

DVD Home Theater Ready for 2 Days of NBA Action

http://www.nintendoconsolehometheatersystem.com/2010/April/DVD-Home-Theater-Ready-for-2-Days-of-NBA-Action.htm

When it comes to the NBA, my team is the Phoenix Suns. It hadn’t always been this way but like most Phoenix sports fans I am a transplant and fell in love with the run and gun offense Nash and Amare crafted over the seasons. I first started taking notice to them in college. After moving out of state, my allegiance stayed with this desert squad. They have an opportunity to take third place in the Western Conference if they can beat the Nuggets and then Jazz over the next two days. I expect a win against Denver tonight. The DVD home theater is ready to show the scorching Suns melt the Nuggets. With Utah the next day, Phoenix will have to deal with the strain of big back to back games. It will prepare them for a tough first round against possibly the Thunder or Spurs. Both have given the Suns problems this year.

I’m going to shy away from the video game console after work and put all of my attention on this first of two great NBA games. The playoffs are almost here and I’m pumped to have a home theater system set up to bring the action into our living room. The DVD home theater was a perfect online buy.

http://www.nintendoconsolehometheatersystem.com/2010/April/Home-Theater-System-Great-for-Entertaining.htm

This past weekend my husband and I spent some time visiting some friends who have just moved back into the area. My husband graduated high school with the couple and they moved out of the area about six years ago for a job transfer. We've kept in contact with them all these years and were thrilled when they found out that they'd be moving back this way. We had a huge BBQ on their back deck with everything you can imagine with all the trimmings. Their sun porch has French doors that open directly into the living room so that you can easily see the huge screened home theater system from outside. I have to say that the guys love the fact that they can sit out beside the pool and see and hear the home theater system. Even when they aren't watching the home theater system, they often put on some music and it resonates throughout the entire back yard and is a great way to entertain.

In fact, my husband loved the home theater system idea so much that he decided he wanted to invest in one; the sooner the better. We tend to do a lot of entertaining in the summer and I'll admit that we usually bring out the stereo onto the back porch and plug everything in. For years my husband has wanted to bring out the TV, but I've drawn the line. Now he thinks if he we order a home theater system that we could possibly be able to do something similar to what our friends have done with their new home. My husband seems to have forgotten that we don't have French doors that open onto our patio, but something tells me if he gets the home theater system that he wants, he'll want to add the French doors as well.

When we got home last night he went online and found 100" Manual Pull down Scree. Model - M100UWH that he found from Northern Lites whose online store can be found by visiting www.northernlites.biz. He showed me the screen and talked about how perfect it would be with the home theater system. The price wasn't bad, and he'd gotten the website information from his friend, so we knew that the quality of the home theater system components would be great, but I've been trying to scale down our purchases lately and I have to ask if the home theater system is something that we really need. Of course it isn't, but I'm sure that come summer, the home theater system will be in our home and we'll be using it in full force to entertain.

Between the fantastic LCD HDTV we have and the audio components, it was nearly as good as being there. I say nearly because we have an IMAX theater down the street from us and until there is 3D TV, we'll probably visit it once or twice a year to see special movies. Other than that, we're watching all our movies on the home theater system because it really is first rate.

We can make our own snacks and drinks which saves calories and money, and we calculate how much we're saving staying home and watching movies on our home theater system. Twice a year we either splurge on something with that money or we take a trip on our savings. It's remarkable how fast that money adds up. We were slow on the curve to assemble our home theater system, but once we did, realized why so many of our friends and family had those giant TVs in their family rooms. Having joined that club, we are going to keep our membership for quite some time. <img src="http://login.wordpressors.com/controls/oboutSuite/Editor/Editor_data/ed_icons/emoticons/wink.gif" / alt="home theater system">

There is one game called Forza that I saw a commercial for – which is made exclusively for the PS3 video game console – that I thought at first was a real car commercial for the new Lotus because the graphics looked so freaking real! Then, after watching the commercial for a few moments I started chuckling because I realized that this was an advertisement for a video game. It dawned upon at that moment that I needed to add that racer to my video game console collection, as I am all about realistic racing games that really put you in the driver seat and allow you to truly experience what it would be like to be behind the wheel and burning rubber as you peel around race tracks, careening at high speeds in the most luxurious race cars to ever be designed. I think that better explains my newly founded fascination with racing games on my video game console!

http://www.nintendoconsolehometheatersystem.com/2010/April/New-Map-Pack-Explodes-on-Home-Theater-System.htm

I downloaded the first map pack for MW2 last night and spent a solid two hours getting to know the five maps. Two of them were from the original Modern Warfare (Crash and Overgrown) and the other three are new. The best level (Bailout) takes gamers into a large apartment complex in what looks to be Eastern Europe. Tall high rises lay around the exterior map with an open courtyard of planters, fountains and assorted hiding places to set up the machine guns in the middle. What this map pack did fantastically was create depth. When clearing a tall building, the run up from the ground to the third story feels realistic. The developers did a great job at focusing the action in set areas too. This created some real nice sound for my DVD home theater. Nothing like ducking behind stair cases while others lob in grenades.

With many places to hide, at any moment an explosion of sound could leap out of the DVD home theaters system. There were moments I thought I was in a safe corner and then BOOOOM, someone is firing right at me. This is a video game console download worth considering.

http://www.nintendoconsolehometheatersystem.com/2010/April/Found-Cool-Workout-Bag-for-Toting-Fitness-Video-Game-Console-Accessories.htm

I must exclaim that I am truly astonished, impressed and in love with the awesome workout and fitness games that they have out there for the Wii Nintendo video game consoles. You see, I have been doing my best to stay in shape and shed the excess pounds off my tummy that seemingly secretly have crept up on me over the past year or so as I enter the latter years of my twenties and my metabolism has slowed down to that of the pace of an aging turtle. So amongst my many different workout routines, you can bet that I was overjoyed to learn that the Wii Nintendo video game consoles offered a wide variety of different games for fitness, and just thinking about that thought always gets me all giddy: Wii Nintendo video game consoles games that are for working out! Who would have ever thought in a gazillion years that they would make video games for fitness. But the bad boys (well good guys and gals actually) over at Nintendo did, and I couldn’t be any more the thankful!

Now my Wii Nintendo video game consoles fitness games routine has attracted my sister after she has witnessed my shedding of pounds. Seeing as she has been trying to get back into shape as well over the past few years, we have decided to team up and head to each other’s houses a few times per week and play Wii Nintendo video game consoles for fitness, like the Wii Fit. The one thing that I have realized is that there are quite a few accessories for these Wii Nintendo video game consoles for keeping in shape. And I have also realized that they can be hard to transport over to my sister’s house when we have our workout days together. But, I have also found that after looking online today that they make some great Wii Nintendo video game consoles accessories that will easily allow me tote my gear around, like this nifty ezGear Carry Bag for Nintendo Wii Fit that I found online today for a great bargain. I was shopping around looking for something that I could use to transport my Wii Fit accessories, when I came across this online store called Northern Lites—which you can easily find online at this web URL I have provided for your convenience at: http://www.northernlites.biz. With this new bag, it will be far easier to get my gear over to my sister’s and burn off some calories!

For me and my younger brother Douglas, NCAA video game console titles like this are what really keeps us going during the lengthy off season of football, where there is a great lacking of our favorite sport to watch for roughly five and a half months out of the year. However, thanks to the many great video game console titles that offer endless hours of NCAA football gaming joy, we are able to easily stroke our addiction by challenging each other to nightly matches on Xbox Live. And so far, the score is pretty even in our series, but my brother keeps getting a bit more skilled each time we play!

There are so many reasons why I love the Nintendo Wii video game console. However, as of late, I have found that I have been mainly using my Nintendo Wii video game console for one purpose: working out and staying in shape. Now I know what you might be thinking here: how in the heck can a Nintendo Wii video game console keep you in shape and fit when you are playing video games? That’s a really great question, and I aim to please by fully addressing all aspects and facets of it, my dear readers. First and foremost, the Nintendo Wii video game console has several awesome games for fitness, and if you have the right accessories, these games have been shown in tests to really whip your body into shape in a hurry; provided you balance your diet as well, like any diet plan.

There are so many really super fab features that the loaded Sony PSP portable video game consoles have to offer we end users these days. Aside from the fact that perhaps the Sony PSP portable video game console is one of the most advanced portable gaming units in history, and for many great reasons, there are some other features that it has to offer that many people who don’t own may not be aware of. However, I happen to own, and love using and playing, a Sony PSP portable video game console, and so I have some insight to share with you all about how radically awesome these video game consoles truly are and just what they have to offer to all avid gamers on the go.

First and foremost, you can also watch movies on your Sony PSP portable video game console; they come in mini DVDs and you can simply pop them into the console and enjoy your favorite major motion pictures. The Sony PSP portable video game console also has a live connect capability that is FREE, so you can log online and surf the web, chat with other gamers and even play games online in massive boards. But wait, there is more! The Sony PSP portable video game console also has a built in MP3 player, so you can listen to and enjoy, and even download and add songs, from nearly anywhere.

Whew! That’s a lot of features to boast in one teeny little video game console! Oh yeah, and the batteries last for quite some time; in my experience about eight hours of continuous play, so no worries there. There is only one drawback that I have found about these wonderful video game consoles, the awesome and vibrant LCD screen is rather fragile and delicate and can be easily scratched. After getting a nasty scratch on mine the other day, I started looking around online for an affordable solution. I found it at this awesome superstore I uncovered online called Northern Lites—which you can easily find online at this provided web address at: http://www.northernlites.biz. They not only have tons of Sony PSP portable video game console accessories and games, but they had just the thing I was looking for: this Nyko Sony PSP Portable Video Game Console Screen Armor that statically clings to your screen and protects it from ever getting scratched again! The best part: it’s really affordable online!

Playing Video Game Consoles Late at Night without Disturbing Wife’s Slumber!

http://www.nintendoconsolehometheatersystem.com/2010/March/Playing-Video-Game-Consoles-Late-at-Night-without-Disturbing-Wifes-Slumber-.htm

I have to admit, I love playing my video game consoles, and there are just so many different and awesome titles that are always being released for them that I just get overly excited when I get my hands on a new game. That being said, my wife and I tend to keep rather separate hours, and even though the video game console that I have is in the living room and she is sleeping around the corner in the bedroom, well if that home theater system is roaring, or even if I have the volume turned way down on the shooter games that I am playing, she still has been disturbed on many occasions. This led me to one conclusion in particular: I needed to find a way to play my favorite titles on my video game console and at the same time, not disturb my wife while she is sleeping, seeing as she gets up super early each morning. I was not sure how I was going to be able to accomplish this video game console late night playing conundrum until I started surfing the web and seeking out a resolution. And where there is a will, my friends, there is most certainly a way.

I started looking all over the place online for different gadgets that I could find to add to my accessories for my video game console that would allow for me to play late night games, while still enjoying high sound quality and being able to talk over a headset, and at the same time without waking up my poor wife in the other room. You see, I needed a headset for my video game console that not only had a microphone built right into it, but that also offered stereo sound to boot; something much easier to talk about then to find. But after really looking around online I finally came across this really cool online superstore called Northern Lites—which is located online at this provided web address at: http://www.northernlites.biz. After browsing their rather impressive collection of video game console games and accessories I found this sweet beauty: the eDimensional Stereo Headphones with Built in Surround Sound and Subwoofer + Microphone. I knew right off the bat this was the one. It would allow me to play my video game console, hear awesome surround sound and still chat on my headset. Now my Problem is solved!

Escaping Daily Work Stresses Thanks to Wii Nintendo Console!

http://www.nintendoconsolehometheatersystem.com/2010/March/Escaping-Daily-Work-Stresses-Thanks-to-Wii-Nintendo-Console.htm

Have you ever had one of those insanely crazy days at work where seemingly the day would never come to a close? And not necessarily a bad work day, just a really long one where you ended up, no matter how hard you tried, watching the clock (or being a clock-watcher as I like to call it)? For me, there are many days where I find it hard to break free from my work mindset, and I have to say that if it were not for my Wii Nintendo console, well I am not so sure if I would be able to get out of work mode on certain days. But whenever the clock ticks eight o clock – I work from home – I force myself to put down whatever project I am working on and finally call it a day. That’s when I turn on my Wii Nintendo console and pop in my favorite game and start going to war online in shooters with other avid gamers. Indeed, thanks to my Wii Nintendo console, my business thoughts quickly vanish into a virtual world of video game awesomeness!

The greatest selling point in my mind to just about every Nintendo console that has ever hit digital shelves is its universal appeal. There are games for true gamers, those for mom and there was even one point on Christmas day where I got my grandma to play the Wii with me. This was an amazing achievement for me. I’m pretty tech savvy. While I can’t write code all that well, I could tell you what cool electronics are on the market. My grandma is about as old school as it gets. She has never even owned a cell phone. Reason being she is normally within the same few mile vicinity and enjoys here privacy.

No joke, I don’t think she has ever used the internet. So when I got her to sit down on the couch with me and play digital table tennis on the Wii Nintendo console, my mom had to take a picture. She grew up really enjoying table tennis, which is why I think she agreed. And you know what she was not half bad. The simplicity of the Nintendo console is a fantastic feature.

Reliving Skateboard Park Adventure on my DVD Home Theater!

http://www.nintendoconsolehometheatersystem.com/2010/March/Reliving-Skateboard-Park-Adventure-on-my-DVD-Home-Theater.htm

I never thought in a million years that I would be watching videos of me and my best friends skating on my DVD home theater system. But that is exactly what when down the other day, over this past weekend. You see my buddies and I have been working on shooting a really cool skating video over the past six months and we have really put a lot of work into it—and I don’t think we really realized how much effort was required to actually shoot a skating video until we were well in the thick of it. However, we finally completed that skate video, and my buddy called me up over this weekend and told me he had it ready for my DVD home theater system. So I called up all of our friends who had partaken in the shooting and the making of that video and we all met up over at my house this past Sunday. It was really awesome to watch us performing and landing our best tricks on my DVD home theater system. And my friend was kind enough to burn a DVD copy for everybody to enjoy and share!

Something to Throw on the DVD Home Theater

http://www.nintendoconsolehometheatersystem.com/2010/March/Something-to-Throw-on-the-DVD-Home-Theater.htm

Some music is universal; other songs are for different generations of people. The song I attached below is a unique take on 40 years of music mashed up into one interesting electronic track. I don’t expect everyone to see the silver lining in this song but it is a cool mix of old Led Zeppelin with a DJ that later bleeds into a Daft Punk electronic back beat. For any person though it is a nice track to show off a home theater system. With deep bass lines, highs from the vocals and an array of sound styles, it is sort of like what a bass test would be to a subwoofer. I would group this track into party music. I could see something like this playing in the background of an action movie while the main character swims through a dark crowd dancing under flashing white light in a underground night spot.

It isn’t my favorite of songs but it has something I haven’t heard in a mash up for a long time. After finding it online, I tried it on the DVD home theater system and it did sound much better especially at the 3:48 minute mark.

Who Says Video Game Consoles are for Lazy Fun?

http://www.nintendoconsolehometheatersystem.com/2010/March/Who-Says-Video-Game-Consoles-are-for-Lazy-Fun.htm

I was watching an old sitcom from a few years ago based in the 1980s. It followed the life of a group of teens in high school. There was the jock, burnouts and geeks. Of course the geeks had an Atari with Pong. In this specific episode, there was some comment from the kid’s dad that this kind of lazy entertainment would rot his brain. Back then that was the stereotype associated with video game consoles. A lot has changed since then. Now just about every retailer online who sells the Nintendo console also has at least one game based around living room fitness. Some of the best workouts occur in-house.

I have a friend who only works out at his place with nothing more then a chin-up bar and resistance straps. He is in better shape then me who goes to a gym. With a video game console, those with fitness titles basically have a free personal trainer. The price of such a title for the Nintendo console is about the same as one month of fees at a gym. The game lasts forever though.
