home theater system, video game console

When my husband and I moved into our new home several months ago, we promised ourselves that we would buy all the necessities first and then as we got the extra money, we'd buy the other things such as the home theater system. For years my husband has wanted a home theater system, but we try to be practical and buy things only as we could afford them. It hasn't always been easy, especially since my husband and I love to watch movies, but we consider it the smart thing to do.

Not too long ago, we finally realized we had enough money in our little nest egg to buy the home theater system components we have been wanting. I can't tell you how excited my husband was, because while I was looking forward to having a home theater system, he was REALLY looking forward to it. He is convinced that it will change his gaming experience with his favorite video game console, and I'll just be happy to be able to watch movies with the sound that the home theater system offers. We watched several movies at my parent’s home during the Christmas holidays and we both loved their home theater so much that we decided that's the one we wanted to get for our new home.

I called mom when the time came for us to order the home theater system and she told me they'd got their AMC 2-Channel Bridgeable Home Theater Amplifier that she found at Nothern Lites whose online store can be found by www.northernlites.biz. She said the price was great and she suggested that we do the same. I thanked her for her help and called my husband at work to tell him that I'd found the one that my parents had purchased and told him the price. We realized that we had more than enough money to buy it, so he suggested that I go ahead and make the purchase. While I was doing that, I also ordered him a new game for his video game console as a little surprise. He hasn't bought any new games in a while, and we had money left over after buying the home theater system so why not? Now when the package arrives, he'll not only have the home theater system to look forward to, but also the video game. I think I'll let the game be a surprise.
