Turning Up DVD Home Theater after Headset Snaps |

I have my video game consoles set up in my bedroom so there is a never a conflict in the living room. Having roommates, I wouldn’t feel right always hogging the main TV playing video games. Anyway, my headset gets lost in the sea of blankets and the other day I ended up sitting on and snapping it in half. The headband portion broke off. After fixing the problem with duct tape, it holds but the earpiece has this awkward tilt. Move the wrong way and the tape breaks loose.
Most of the online gaming I do is team based so hearing what everyone is saying is important if nothing else entertaining. I’ve since turned the DVD home theater way up while gaming. That way I hear what people are saying just can’t talk to them. It works but I know the volume is too loud for my roommate on the other side of the wall. When he’s gone it’s all good but not at night a loud DVD home theater is a no no. My only option is to go online and find a deal on a new headset.
