Marriage Between Game and Home Theater System |

If you ask me, there is an undying bond between the video game console and a home theater system. The two go together like hot wings and football. Sitting on my couch, controller in hand and DVD home theater speakers covering every audible angle really gets me pumped up to play the video game console. I don’t know about you but surround sound really has some positive effects on the psyche. I was playing a video game console match where one team needs to plant a bomb within a few minutes and the other team needs to protect the bomb sites from being blown up. There is no respawns so when your hit, there is no coming back until the next round.
In this particular match, I was the last man standing, bomb in hand. Creepy around a barn edge, I peered towards a bomb site. The coast looked clear. I couldn’t hear any enemy footsteps over the home theater system and no one was shooting. I made a mad dash to plant. Still no signs of movement. Just as I breathed a breath of fresh air, I heard footsteps from above. A DVD home theater really picks up all video game console sound effects. Like a ninja, one of the opposing team enemies dropped down on top of me, took me out and won the match. It all had me really excited even with a loss.
