Bringing the IMAX Home with a DVD Home Theater |

I just got back from seeing A Christmas Carole in 3D at a local IMAX theater. Talk about a powerful audio setup. Prior to the start of the movie, there were some facts about IMAX theaters. The one that stuck out in my mind was each theater is set up with a 12,000 watt surround sound system. On a side note, A Christmas Carole in 3D was one of the coolest theater experiences I have ever had. It impressed me so much I want to go online and find some new DVD home theater components to amp up my own setup.
<--Serious DVD Home Theater Sound
There is no way a home theater system could be as powerful as what’s in the IMAX without a lot of money and no neighbors close by but creating resonating sound is not that hard with all the great DVD home theater products online. I have been happy with my speakers but would love a better sub. At the moment mine is underpowered compared to the speakers. What I have seen online has been pretty exciting though. I may save the cash and try to get a sub for Christmas. I’ll be sure to tell Santa what online retailer has the best deals after all it is a recession.
