THQ best known for video game console titles like Saints Row, WWE SmackDown, Warhammer and upcoming titles like UFC 2009: Undisputed and Red Faction: Guerilla posted a 431 million dollar loss according to video game console news from gamespot.com. They have not been hit as hard as some of the other game developers but almost half a billion dollars in lost profits is nothing to brush off your shoulders. Over the past year, THQ saw some rough times ahead and took preemptive measures to cut hundreds of millions in costs along with laying off employees worldwide.

Even after the attempts to have a better-looking bottom line, THQ suffered a rough year. On the bright side, those upcoming games mentioned above are rumored to be great. The buzz is pretty heavy for the latest UFC title.
