nintendo console, video game consoleApparently the Super Nintendo console is a fairly rare game unit to find these days.  My husband had a lot of video games for the Super Nintendo console he had, but the end of the power cord has a loose wire and sometimes the Super Nintendo console would just loose power right in the middle of the game.

I went to all the video game stores and couldn't find a Super Nintendo console or even just the power cord.  Then one day I was at a video store and this young man comes walking up to the counter with a huge bag; he tells the manager of the store he has a Super Nintendo console and about 10 games to go with it; he wants to know how much he'd give him for the lot.  The manager said, "I'll give you $5.00 for the Super Nintendo console and I'll give you $1.00 a game."  The kid said, "I was trying to get enough money to help me buy a new Xbox 360 video game console."
The manager just shook his head and told him he was sorry, but that's as high as he'd go.

Well I caught up with the kid as he left the store and I told him I'd heard what the man at the game store had offered him for his Super Nintendo console and all of those games and that I was willing to pay more for them.  He was hesitant, but then he said, "How much would you give me for them?"  I told him that I was willing to give him $20.00 for the Super Nintendo console and $3.00 per game.  He said, "It's a deal!"

I ended up surprising my husband with the Super Nintendo console that I'd gotten from that young man and my husband was thrilled with what a great deal I had made!
