<--Nintendo has Big Plans for this Summer
The other day there were some rumblings about Wii Nintendo consoles dropping in price due to the decline in global sales. I even wrote a post about it. It looks like I was spreading non-factual gossip after those rumors were smashed by the executives at Nintendo of America who stated today that a Wii price drop is not on the horizon. The company will deal with declining sales with a grain of salt. Everyone realizes that the economy has tightened up people’s wallet. On the bright side, the Wii Nintendo console is out selling the PS3 and Xbox 360 according to WSJ.
The Wii Nintendo console has some big product releases this summer including a motion board and a wheel-less skateboard for gamers to jump on when playing the new Tony Hawk game. The company is working hard to create a more entertaining gaming experience. Analysts and those who want to see what is next need to wait for the annual E3 show where game and electronic developers showcase their hottest new innovations.
