<--No Nunchucks for Xbox 360
The rumors have turned into rock hard fact after Microsoft officially announced an Xbox 360 motion sensitive external camera system to be sold as an add on for future games. Taking a hint from the super successful Wii Nintendo consoles, Microsoft knows that motion activated controls are the way of the future. Not only is it a cool way to game out but it also gets the stereotypical out of shape gamer off the couch. Many insiders have said that the ability to move around without a Wii like controller is one of the greatest benefits to what Microsoft is developing. After setting up the camera, everything within the range will register and display during gameplay.
It is also said the Microsoft’s version is more fluid and useable then the Wii Nintendo console. Expect a big debut for this future add on during the opening of E3 tomorrow in the Los Angeles Convention Center. The camera will also pick up voice commands. All of this means many new experiences for the Xbox 360 video game console. Like Nintendo consoles, Microsoft will be able to break into the exercise game genre.
