When Nintendo consoles were faced with juggernauts in the industry that threatened to make them the little guys – and we all know they used to the be big boys, and still kind of are – they decided that a brand new Nintendo console was in order that would blow everybody away. I am talking about, of course, the innovative, revolutionary, and breakthrough technology that drives the best Nintendo console ever, the Wii. If you think back, however, the Nintendo console was always at the forefront of proprietary awesomeness. The original Nintendo console was the first of its kind, and one of the better selling consoles in history (see Wikipedia for more information about this). After this they developed the Super Nintendo console, which also was a smash hit, but still ran on cartridges. This was followed by the enormously popular Nintendo 64. Finally, they went to CD games with the Gamecube. Today, they have added more power and diversity and virtual reality controllers with the very popular Wii. More power, internet capabilities, better controllers and advanced games easily make the Wii the best Nintendo console ever!
