 Last Christmas my wife and I decided to get the kids each their own personal Nintendo DS Lite. They had been asking for one since the beginning of the year, so we figured it was a pretty solid choice. I have always been a Nintendo console fan, but I like the big screen gaming experience. I had never been one to want to squint at a smaller screen, or play less than quality games.

 The Nintendo DS Lite quickly changed that. I think that first Christmas Day, I played it more than my daughter did. When she finally got it back (after some strong convincing from my wife) I quickly grabbed my sons to check to make sure it wasn't defective. I didn't have to squint at the screen. It was quite bright and the screen was actually quite detailed. The games weren't that bad graphically or in gameplay. I was quite impressed.

 That same night I quickly went online and ordered my own Nintendo DS Lite. I still like playing my games on a larger screen, but love the freedom of the mobile video game console. Now, when I have a few minutes, I just grab my Nintendo DS Lite out of my bag.
