This morning, while watching a morning show, Jenny McCarthy came on to show off a new Wii Nintendo console fitness game called Your Shape. Seen in the video below, this title will come with a camera that scans the gamer’s body. From there, no controller is needed as the camera will track movement. Can anyone say Nintendo console version of Project Natal? Once a player is scanned in, a digital version of themselves will start a routine of exercises. The game will then tell people whether or not they are doing the exercise right. Jenny McCarthy said there are around 400 exercises to choose from that can include a Yoga ball or free weights.

The video above doesn’t show the actual gameplay but I saw it this morning. Half the screen is a video of yourself working out and the other half is the digital you doing what you are supposed to copy. After a workout is completed, a range of indicators like calories burned will pop up. By the way, Ubisoft is behind this one. Could this Nintendo console game take the place of a personal trainer?
