home theater system

I have heard of people being obsessed about things, but my husband is completely insane about his home theater system. After about six years of him messing around with different home theater system components, I thought he was done. That was not the case.

I need to be very honest here. I do like what he has done to our home theater system. Of course, I will be the first to tell you that I do not know a whole lot about it, but it sure sounds good. The picture on the screen is perfect, and the sound is very strong. We have spent a lot of time together around the home theater system on the weekends. In fact, I will also say that it has brought us closer. We trade off on the types of entertainment we watch, but for the most part, the home theater system has been very good.

But, there has to be a line drawn somewhere! I do not know if it is because I do not understand the whole home theater system thing, or what, but he sure can spend a lot of money on it. It seems like every month something is being replaced with a newer one, wires are being routed, or something is being moved. I know that guys can get this way about their vehicles, but a home theater system?

Anyway, I caught him looking at some websites. A electronics shopping website. He was looking for some new home theater system components. I asked him what in the world he could possibly need. All he said in reply was, "An amp."

The website he was at was called Northern Lites. I have noticed a few boxes from this website located at www.northernlites.biz around the house. He has been at this website many times before. After a few hours (he is worse than a woman when it comes to shopping!) he finally said he was ready to make a purchase. I came over to see what he was looking at and quickly lost interest. He was going to buy a Phoenix Gold AudioSource AMP-100 Amplifier that would make the home theater system sound much better.

Of course, I could have cared less, but when the package from Northern Lites showed up, he was as happy as a clam. I didn't notice any difference in the sound, but he sure did. And, his friends all did too! Men and their toys. They are fun to watch though.
