Franchising the Video Game Console |

What is an invention without related innovations to sell to worldwide consumers? Ever since the creation of the video game console other related products have hit the market calling us all to turn over hard earned paychecks for the latest and greatest. Who doesn’t love some new stuff? I know I do. My question is where the video game console franchise will go from here. So far, we have had a spawn of similar yet different video game consoles, toys, video, pictures and clothing modeled after classic video games.
I think actors and musicians will start to show up in the video game world more and more. People may stop going to the movie theater with so much media available at home but they will always play video games. Actors as large as Kiefer Sutherland have recently lent their voices or faces to gaming dialogue and in game cinematics. Games of today already create stories with silver screen potential. The mix between reality and digital is quickly becoming apparent. There will be a day when video games not only create great playability but also Hollywood caliber videos.
